😉 Killer Winks Wink to kill · don't get caught

Secretly assign one player as the killer (slips of paper work well). The killer winks at people around the room — anyone winked at dramatically dies five seconds later. The killer's goal is to take out the room without getting caught; everyone else's goal is to point out the killer before they themselves get winked at.

🤙 Signs Passing Pass the sign · don't get caught with it

Sit in a circle. Each player picks their own unique gesture — hand, eyes, legs, anything visible. One player stands in the middle.

Whoever has "it" passes it by performing someone else's sign. The receiver accepts by doing their own sign first, then passes it on the same way. The middle player watches and tries to catch who's holding it. If caught, that player goes to the middle.

💬 Contact Guess the word from sneaky clues

One player (the wordsmith) picks a word and reveals only its first letter. Everyone else tries to figure it out.

When a guesser thinks they know a possible word, they say "I have a contact!" and give a clue that fits the revealed letters — e.g. for "D": "a four-legged friend." If anyone else thinks they know the same word, they shout "Contact!" Both count down 5-4-3-2-1 and say their guess at the same time. If they match, the wordsmith reveals the next letter — unless the wordsmith can guess the clue word first, which blocks the reveal.

Continue until the word is fully revealed or directly guessed.

🎭 Telephone Charades Acted-out telephone, chaos guaranteed

Four (or more) players step out of the room. The group picks a person, action, or scene to act out.

Player 1 comes in and is told the prompt. Player 2 enters and watches Player 1 silently act it out. Player 3 watches Player 2. Player 4 watches Player 3 — then guesses what it is. The mutations down the chain are the whole point.

🧠 Amnesia You don't know who you are

One player leaves the room. The group secretly decides who or what they are — a celebrity, a fictional character, an animal, an object, anything.

They come back and ask the group questions about themselves until they figure out their identity. Questions can be yes/no or open-ended ("Am I real?", "What do people do with me?"). The group answers truthfully but vaguely.

4+ players · imaginations only

🕵️ It / Smurf Guess the secret verb

One player leaves the room. The rest of the group picks a verb — that verb is now "it."

The player returns and asks the group about their interactions with "it" — "When did you first do it?", "Is it embarrassing to do in public?", "Do you do it alone?" The group answers honestly, just substituting "it" for the verb. The player guesses the verb based on the answers.

Smurf variant: same game, but the group answers using "smurf" / "smurfing" in place of the verb — so the answers reveal the action more directly, just dressed up in nonsense.

4+ players · one good verb

🎯 Blind Man's Bluff (Nerf) Find them by sound alone

One player is blindfolded and handed a Nerf gun. Everyone else must stay silent and move quietly around the room.

The blindfolded player tries to find and shoot the others by sound alone. The other players try to stay un-shot as long as possible — they can move, but any noise gives them away.

3+ players · blindfold, Nerf gun, a safe room

🎨 Pictionary Draw it · guess it · no words

One player draws a prompt while their team tries to guess what it is. No words, no letters, no numbers — just the drawing. Take turns, keep score, first team to a target score wins.

Works on paper, a whiteboard, or any drawing app cast to the TV (iPad + AirPlay / phone + Chromecast).
